HD Radio

HD Radio is a digital radio system that coexists with traditional FM or AM frequencies. It broadcasts a digital signal alongside the analog one and supports program data, enhanced services, and data transfer. This technology facilitates a gradual shift from analog to digital broadcasting. Initially, it operates in a hybrid mode, transitioning to full digital as analog receivers are replaced. HD Radio utilizes the IBOC (In-band On-Channel) standard developed by iBiquity.
