FWA

Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) is a wireless method for connecting subscribers to communication networks, offering services like broadband internet and telephone. It involves installing an outdoor antenna linked to a special modem inside the user’s premises, with the modem connecting to devices via wired or wireless (Wi-Fi) connections. This antenna connects users to a central network access point, or base station, providing services like telephony, high-speed data, and multimedia. FWA offers data rates ranging from hundreds of kbit/s to several Mbit/s, depending on user needs and technology. It’s commonly used to connect homes, businesses, and consumers to the internet.
